Where did I get Dan Mohlers teachings ?
I have downloaded MP3 files from the Internet. The source of the material is here:
But it appears the download link hcskl.comis broken. Here is another link
With a file converter and a pc we can turn these into CD's.
I have downloaded the complete school hcskl2011 (free video streaming on YouTube). That's more than 100 hours of teaching by Dan Mohler.
I'm still listening on a daily basis and feel very challenged in a positive sense, but still far away in application. Here is my latest conclusions about Dans teachings which I would currently classify as orthodox in the best sense, but not quite main stream yet, albeit very diserving for that honor. The historical Jesus never was main stream and what we regard as mainstream Christianity is a compromised version of the original church.
There is no doubt in my mind that Dan is really honest and for real and that his miracles are well witnessed. Moreover he has been able to duplicate them through his students. Most prominent is now Todd White. Todd in turn has also managed to multiply the message in converts like Keith Mitzel. The latter 2 I've met in Australia.
Dans theology was received in personal prayer in his bedroom. It's radically biblical and literal. What makes him unique is that he has experientially confirmed the literal truth of the bible and then managed to pass it on transparently like no other. It's incarnational transformational Devine love. It just looks like Jesus as Dan says "he lives in me" and the gospel according to Dan is he loves you and wants to live in you.
People that argue with his theology will have to argue with the bible itself and their own willingness to pay the price of intimate relational discipleship. Dan does not find cause for a soft middle path in the bible. He has found extreme joy in self abandonment and experiencing God based on his word.
The main argument appears to be that his theology is too radical for the current convenient and self indulgent main stream Christianity, which is unwilling and unable to reproduce the miracles he has experienced due to a softer theology that reflects a common sense consensus reality of uncertainty and limitation with regards to the human condition and hence the nature of God. Nobody doubts Dans sincerity and sacrificial love and he has abundant testimonies of healings and life's transformed.
