Rolland Baker is flying again !
Last year Rolland reported and air plane crash, his one and only Cessna crashed. Thankfully he is still with us to tell the story, but has been grounded for a while now. Grounded in rural Mozambique means mission trips by car on dust roads that turn into mud when it rains. Rolland did not fly himself the day the airplane crashed and the pilot miraculously survived the crash. The cause of the crash was a broken propeller (and there was only one).
But glory to God it is time now, that Rolland will take to his wings again. Delivery of a new plane took place in May 2012 Funding gap of 680 000 closed. We know how much this means to the people of Moz. Out there in the Bush Bush of Mozambique Air planes are absolutely essential for missions and for combating starvation. We can all be part of saving these precious people.
Rolland and Heidi Baker never appeal for funds or ask for money - they believe God provides. However churches and supporters in various countries have set up donation for people who feel God has put it on their heart to donate. Hence Kris Vallotton from Bethel church has asked for special permission to run his own donation appeal to help with the costs of buying a new air plane - see link below. And this is a volunteer campaign run by friends and hence there will be no deductions except for credit card charges for those who can't do direct fund transfers.
