From 140 AD onward a small Canon was compiled and by around 400 AD we arrived at the type of Canon we nowadays use in our Bibles. My point is that the precise definition of salvation has been left unresolved by Jesus and the apostles and has remained a contentious issue up to this very day. So the classical answer remains What is impossible with man is possible with God !
