Is mycause.com.au the way to go for Aussies ?
Hello from Walter, a frustrated gofundme client. I have been a donor on many gofundme campaigns cause these guys are popular. But while running my first campaign I found that I have to feed an expensive and cumbersome US system that uses a third party payment system and has to comply with US law for international money transfers. My campaigns donations go to a poor country and such countries get heavily scrutinised by gofundme under US laws. This has triggered disclosure requests, campaign stops and time consuming email exchanges. The issues are not resolved to to systemic weaknesses. Not worth the hassle. That’s why I’m ready to give mycause.com.au a go ! Aussie Aussie Aussie ! Oy oy oy
