Using my iPhone to add content to this blog. Seeing Australia from the inside. We took our time. Almost every place is worth staying a while. What to see and what to leave out that is the question and when and how to prepare. One thing that matters big time: Camping in peak times means double the fees. Picking the right climate and avoiding migies (sand flies) is a big consideration as well. Having covered that my highlights where Airlie beach with daydream island and the blue mountains near Sydney. Buying or hiring a Campervan is a consideration and for bigger tours decking out a Panel van as Campervan.

I used to be a huge fan of Weebly and I still use it a lot due to its simplicity and effectiveness. Productivity matters to me a lot and with that I mean how fast I can produce a new post and go life. But integrity matters as well  and since I'm an affiliate that earns commissions I have to tell you about the downsides and limitations that Weebly has. Mobile blogging with Weebly is very challenging ! Their systems support tablets, but they are neither mature nor stable.

While travelling Australia extensively I became painfully aware of Weebly's limitations. Swapping editing devices such as tablets phones and computers can crash your work.  Weebly has not  adequately met this challenge.  Good internet speed during the editing process is mandatory and the absence of an option to compile a post offline is a huge downside of Weebly's Assax based coding environment. Furthermore 

Poor reception is not the only problem. The system can be too slow to do life editing in poor reception areas. There is no option to edit off line and then upload later. Switching between devices and software apps is messy and there appear to be some compatibility problems. Too many cosmetic changes have affected our productivity and Robustness has suffered.

In May 2016 I have needed a proper computer to add new blog pages. Weebly's ease of use has suffered and hasty updates means bugs and instability is now a fairly common experience. Firefox and Google Chrome compatibility not 100%. Maybe I should test Explorer again.

I am sorry you've experienced so much frustration  ....  Weebly classic has been phased out and will no longer be supported. They will not be merged, but there will be more updates to the newer app, though I don’t know when the next update will be released. As far as working in areas with spotty internet connections, there’s nothing over which we have control in those circumstances. Updates on devices will be saved locally, and then when you publish, it will sync with the server, but I’d make sure that you're not switching between devices with data saved locally that hasn’t been synced, because then when you work on the second device, it won’t see the changes from the other one and there could be problems. I’d say make sure it’s fully sync’ed before switching to a different mobile device to further edit.  Thank you for choosing Weebly!

Airlie Beach in Australia is an exciting place to visit. It has nice restaurants and pubs and is a backpackers magnet. The options for fun and day tours are many. We have opted to spend 5 days on daydream Island. We got a good deal with $99 per person, transfer by boat included and a first class buffet breakfast every day. Once there kajaking and sailing are included in the price and the island has reefs and corals all around. Free buggy rides or a short stroll will get you to the main beaches. So no need to pay more. Exciting tours and activities and the living reef are an attraction too good to miss.

Only downside with coral beaches is that they are rough and investing in $20 for special coral beach shoes is a must and they are available on the island. A trip to the white sands of Whitehaven will compensate for the missing sand and complete the experience of the Whitsundays.

Wishing all our family a happy resurrection weekend. We feel very blessed by our saviours love and did enjoy watching a Jesus movie (one of the older versions). Did anybody watch "risen" in the cinemas ?

what a beautiful spot for Easter. We camp near a surf beach close to Coffs Harbour right next to a saltwater lake inlet which ajoines our holiday park. It's similar here to lakes entrance, but no roads to Cross, perfect temperstures (19/28) everyday and our camping site is adjoining the sea.

Travel log (blog) written on sat 26mar 2016. It's 3 weeks into our bucket list travel.

So Janet and I finally had the house and yard cleaned up and spruced up on Saturday 5th March and then we took off early afternoon. We made it to sales that day after the obligatory toilet stops at Mac (w) (c) rap where we enjoyed a mc wrap and then settled for s motel. Next day up to bright (very hot) Janet didn't want to stay, cause it was hot and the magic dust had worn off. So we moved on to Albury wodonga. Nice caravan park. We where after hours and got in anyways. It was hot and we enjoyed the pool. Next day we looked up campers but the one I liked was sold, so we moved on to Penrith. Campervans where a bit overpriced there and it was stinking hot. In no mood to rush decisions. They didn't do the try before you buy That I expected from their ads and the local caravan park had no vacancies. So We stayed in a motel in Penrith for $125 and then moved on to Katoomba in the blue mountains. Beautiful place. After 3 days of moteling / overnight stays at the $100 mark avg we enjoyed camping. Only one problem m rain got into our tent. Not unexpectedly (the seals at the seams where falling down). So we stayed a week anyways (8 days) Mountains stunning - we had a good time. A little rain and storms, but otherwise beautiful. At a 1000 m above sea levels temps where 26 to 28 degs - about 5 degs below Sydney (Penrith). We tried our best to dodge the heat wave we had in Victoria on departure (mid 30ties). After blue mountains we headed to midway between Sydney and Brisbane and had a great time at the white albatross in macumba (for about a week) before moving on to Valla Beach close by for Easter. That's where we are now and it's stunning.

Today is Easter Monday and I'm editing from Valla beach at the pool side.
