ApolloRVsales now offers the Adria Campervan, which is a European import. The 2018 model comes with 150 hp, which is definitely needed for its purpose and it has a great layout. It is more affordable then its Aussie competitors, but it only comes with a European 2 year Fiat Warranty and 100k km's ! We almost bought the van, but the short warranty put us off as Ducatos have or have had problems with water in the engine bay.

For 11 years we have successfully serviced and maintained Fiat vehicles in Victoria at one stage organising repairs throughout country Victoria with other repair shops in a spoke and hub system. In 2009 Southern Euro become a Fiat Commercial Dealership for New Fiat Commercials and Used Vehicles and along with the new sales yard and workshop combination we have successfully sold, serviced and maintained not only Fiat Commercials but the highly successful and unique range of Fiat motorhomes and campervans. new Sales Yard & Service premises at 72 -78 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong South
We can lay claim to be the most experienced workshop in Victoria and have the highest volume of Fiat Commercial vehicles than any other workshop in Australia. Advise re Sales Contract for Campervan / Motorhome
I have signed a contract with an Australian RV dealership for an imported Fiat Adria Campervan, for delivery in 1week. Paid $5000 deposit, will be forfeited if I walk away from contract.
Issue : Fiat Warranty was undisclosed at point of sale. On inquiry I was told as an import the FIAT comes onlywith a European type 2 year Warranty, instead of themarket standard Australian Fiat warranty of 3 years.
Can I insist on 3 years warranty and is the contractinvalid otherwise ? Can I legally rescind the contract anddemand return of my deposit ? Reasoning:
1- Failure to provide adequate product protection for theAustralian market (in being deviant from industrystandard of 3 years, which 99% of Ducato owners aregiven in Australia. Product must be fit for its purpose fora reasonable amount of time.
2- Failure to disclose limited warranty in contract.Neither oral, nor in writing together with sales contract.
