Officially Jayco does neither offer a wiring diagram nor a fuse box description or fuse locator.
I am particularly interested in understanding and improving Jayco's charging circuits for their house battery. The ultimate goal is making the Campervan/Motorhome Conquest FD19 capable for freecamping beyond 2 days !
Three independent charge circuits are at play in parallel (The Fiat alternator battery circuit, the BMPRO J35C BMS (Battery Management System) and the Redarc smart battery isolator SBI12D).
This is a rather unorthodox setting which has evolved from Jayco's product variant history as a mass manufacturer.
The Redarc SBI solenoid is engaged during charging and often remains engaged for hours after charging has ceased. In addition due to the Redarc bypass, the BMS Amperage readings on the JHub can not be trusted. Jayco does not believe this is a problem and argues that the benefits of better charging results outweigh this flaw.
My proposal is to remove the Redarc SBI bypass and install the BmPro Miniboost DC/DC converter.
A little reverse engineering shows ... (to be continued)
The dominant Redarc wiring is thicker (8mm2 ?) then the Jhub Aux wiring (2.5 or 4mm2 ?)
Jaycos uses160W panels supplied by http://www.coastrv.com.au/
A 100Ah battery marked HBR33AIV1
Accelerate Auto Electrics & Air Conditioning - Qld company - very competent !
