The unofficial guide to improve "self contained living" in the Jayco Campervan FD19
A freecampers upgrade of the renewable energy system of the FD19
The FD19's has space confinements but a 50% improvement is achievable.
Here are my System sourcing considerations (follow it at your own risk)
#1 Solar panel replacement, currently 160W with a 300W panel from Dick Smith (almost same size)
#2 Add Portable Solar panel from 4wdSupacentre / Brand Adventure-Kings
#3 Replace the FD19's 100Ah AGM battery with a Giant 140Ah from AussieBatteries
PS: I am shying away from the fossil option, but you can buy a GenTrax Gennie for under $600 !
